NEW LOGO......

You may have noticed on my last post a new watermark. That is because for a while now I have been wanting a new logo! I finally got it!! I am so happy with it. A very talented 15 year old girl created my new logo! I will also be launching a new website soon! A complete overhaul for Kristi James Photography. There will be new pricing and scheduling. Stormy Weather....

The other night I had a session with the "S" family! We took our session out to the beach/park. We weren't sure if this session would happen because it has been raining for the last week since our "SUPER" Typhoon passed. Go figure it rains AFTER it leaves. I had so much fun with this family. As we were taking pictures we watched the storm come closer and closer...meaning that ENORMOUS BLACK CLOUD! We ended up making it through the whole session and no rain! I had the hardest time getting "C" to smile, but he is so cute you can't get a bad picture of him. "Little S" was so adorable. He smiled pretty easy, but this was one tired boy. He kept falling asleep, it was so funny! So "S" family here is a preview to leave you wanting more!

Bubbles, Bubbles and more Bubbles

On Monday I had so much fun photographing Bradley and Gideon's 2nd BUBBLE Birthday Party!! Bradley had fun playing with the bubbles, while Gideon had fun playing race car driver! They were so adorable. It was too funny because Bradley was so smiley and happy and Gideon was angry and just wanted to stay in the car. A bubble party was such a cute idea "MOM"! Thanks for having me there! Here are a few photos to tease you.

Family.....

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing family! Let me tell you, this family was so easy to photograph and look absolutely amazing in them! Such a beautiful family and just adorable kids. "M" was so into the hermit crabs crawling around on the beach too! "X" fell asleep half way through, but we didn't have the heart to wake him. He was so peaceful and precious! Thanks "H" family for an amazing session! Hope you enjoy your preview!

GIRLS.....Just wanna have fun!

These two adorable sisters were so much fun! We took their birthday to the beach. Their talented mom made these ADORABLE skirts for them. Aren't they just beautiful? It was an interesting session as we got smoked out for a while. There was a fire just over the hill from us and it was big! It didn't even phase the girls, they wanted to keep playing! "E" and "D" have the cutest personalities. So much fun! Mom here is your preview...enjoy! Oh I did the black and color pop you wanted!

A Stroll Through the Park

This family was so awesome! Mom picked out amazing colors(my fav. brown and pink) to wear. We had a wonderful stroll through the park and 2 year old "S" LOVED the fishies that she saw. She wanted to find the ducks, but we were unable to find any. She had so much energy! She was such a trooper walking all over. By the end of the night she just wanted to be a mermaid. He he he he he...she was so adorable. I love her red hair too. Mom and Dad were great too!! So mom and dad here is your preview...

Family Bliss

Last night I did a session with a family so similar to my own. Two adorable boys, a girl on the way and beautiful parents. The boys were so full of energy and LOVE wolverine! They were so great! D, I hope you enjoy your preview!

So I have been super busy and distracted the last few weeks. My oldest son started Kindergarten this year and he was so excited. Anyway, a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph cute little Dane! He was so cute and giggly. OH...and SLEEPY. We got some great shots anyway. Here is a little preview. No Vacation for Me!

Well me and my children were supposed to take a 30 day vacation back to Utah, but there haven't been any available seats on the Patriot Express lately. I tried on the 8th and the 15th and came home unsuccessful. My hubby is in Twentynine Palms training and we thought this would be a great chance for us to do a mini vacation and we would get to see new family members, old family members and old friends. We were all pretty excited. I was going to be able to take my good friend Ashley's maternity pictures, my cousin's wedding pictures and many many many more. I'm pretty bummed. So instead of vacation, I am going to start doing sessions again starting August 24th. School starts soon so don't forget to "Let Me Capture You". Have a WONDERFUL remainder of your summer.

Jaenichen Family

Last week I did a photo shoot with the Jaenichen Family. Paxton was such a little cutie pie. I was so impressed with him and his sign language skills. It amazed me. He was so excited to see the planes in the air. Daddy knew all the names of them. Paxton also love 'THE BIG FAN'. He was such a sweetheart and we ended up with some really great shots.
